Just picked up the new paper called THE LONDONER today and was nicely surprised to see GRIMMS highlighted as one of 'Jono's' top 5 things to see this December! Very nice.

This is a piece of music originally written by Vanessa Lucas-Smith, but now re-constructed by Carole Carpenter, for one of our tales called 'The Singing Po' adpted by Dominic Currie. A little tale about a man who is called by water - THE TIME HAS COME, THE DEED MUST BE DONE.

GRIMMS - First Jam

 

Well, 2 weeks into rehearsals and all seems to going well. We are currently  on schedule and have blocked the first half of the show.

At the end of last week, we took a little time out to concentrate on music, this was the first time the group have worked together on music. So was quite surprised when I threw a few ideas at them that they came up with some of the goods! This little snippet was from their 'first jam' - which bodes well for later on.
